Visitors can explore the monastic spaces and discover the most emblematic rooms of this 12th-century foundation, rebuilt in the 16th century as Portugal's first major Mannerist construction. The tour culminates on the church terrace, offering a stunning view over illuminated Lisbon.

The monastery was commissioned by King Afonso Henriques after the 1147 siege of Lisbon, fulfilling a vow to build a monastery dedicated to Saint Vincent. Today, it houses the Curia of the Patriarchate, adding layers of history to the visit.

This atmospheric evening experience allows guests to appreciate the monastery's architecture and art in a unique nocturnal setting. The guided walk provides insight into the site's evolution from a royal promise to a national monument, making it a memorable addition to any Lisbon itinerary.
