These gardening awareness workshops, organized by Lisbon's Municipal School of Gardening, invite children, youth, seniors, and people with special needs to explore sustainable practices through hands-on activities. Participants can learn to cultivate rosemary, create botanical impressions in clay, or craft unique bookmarks using natural elements.

The program also includes sensory garden experiences, a game simulating tree-environment interactions, and a workshop on making traditional Portuguese "Dia da Espiga" bouquets. Each session is designed to foster creativity, environmental consciousness, and a deeper connection with nature.

From reusing materials to create decorative objects to preparing Christmas nativity scenes, the workshops offer a year-round opportunity to engage with nature in a meaningful way. All activities are held at the Escola de Jardinagem e Calceteiros in Lisbon.
