About Romania
Romania is Dracula country made real, with Bran and Peleș castles and fortified Saxon villages, plus the switchback Transfăgărășan carving through the Carpathians. Romania is one of Europe’s most varied countries: the Carpathian mountains arc through the middle, Transylvania’s Saxon towns and castles sit in the hills, and the Black Sea coast at Mamaia and Constanța brings summer beaches. Cities like Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca add big-festival energy and a fast-growing food and nightlife scene.
