Iași City Days celebrate a millennium of urban culture with fairs, wine, and city-wide festivities.

Iași City Days (Sărbătorile Iașului) is Romania's largest urban celebration, where the historic city marks its identity with over a week of events. The festival is organized around religious tradition—October 14 is the Feast of Saint Parascheva, Iași's patron saint—combined with secular celebrations including craft fairs, autumn markets, food festivals, wine tastings, theatrical performances, sports events, and fireworks. The entire city participates: Boulevard thoroughfares fill with artisan stalls, the Central Hall hosts wine tastings, an amusement park opens at the municipal pool, and craft fairs showcase traditional skills. The festival culminates with a closing concert on October 18. It's both a spiritual observance and a joyful celebration of urban identity—a chance to experience Iași's culture, food, and community spirit at their peak energy.
