Rose Blood Festival

Rose Blood Festival's second edition takes over the two floors of Neck of the Woods on Clement Street, turning the San Francisco venue into a two-day, all-ages music weekend. The line-up spans garage rock and alternative, from garage-leaning sets by Chokecherry, Sludge Mother, False Flag, and Fatale to alternative-heavy runs from Spellling, Lealani, Tricky FM, Swell Foop, Slake, Violet Thrones, Town Bully, and Misandrist. With the venue arranged upstairs and downstairs, the festival has the feel of a continuous crawl between rooms rather than a single static show.

Because each day is programmed with its own roster, there is reason to settle in for the whole run. The all-ages policy also makes the weekend open to younger listeners, and the two-level layout keeps the experience intimate.
