AMA
Ama is a London-based R&B singer-songwriter who began releasing music as Ama Lou before dropping that name in the mid-2020s. She built an early following through fashion and media work, appearing on the covers of 10 Magazine, Puss Puss and Notion and in features for Vogue, i-D and Elle, alongside a styling collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami, while drawing tens of millions of views for self-directed music videos on YouTube.

About AMA
She released her fully self-produced debut album, I Came Home Late, in 2023 on Interscope Records, after which the two parted ways. Following a period away from releasing music, during which she has said she lost her ability to write, she returned with the single "My Girl" in 2024. In 2025 she signed to ISO Supremacy, the label run by R&B artist Brent Faiyaz in partnership with PULSE Records, becoming its second major signing after Tommy Richman.
Ama's self-titled second album was released on June 19, 2026, through ISO Supremacy, featuring guest appearances from Faiyaz and Bryson Tiller. Written entirely from her own perspective across thirteen tracks, the record explores womanhood, confidence and vulnerability within an R&B and pop sound, with Ama citing Brandy's Never Say Never as a reference point for its cohesion. She has described her long friendship with Faiyaz, dating to 2019, as central to the album's more direct songwriting.
