About Dying Wish
The band's debut EP, Finding Peace in the Darkness, was released in 2017 under the earlier name. After signing to SharpTone Records in 2020, Dying Wish released the single "Innate Thirst" and issued its debut full-length album, Fragments of a Bitter Memory, on 1 October 2021. An earlier single, "Enemies in Red" (2019), featured a guest appearance from Bryan Garris of Knocked Loose.
Musically, the band plays an aggressive, hardcore-inflected style of metalcore described as combining extreme metal intensity with punk spirit. Its third studio album, Flesh Stays Together, was released via SharpTone Records on 26 September 2025 and received notice in metal press as one of the year's overlooked releases.
Dying Wish has continued to tour actively behind Flesh Stays Together, building on the momentum of its earlier records within the American metalcore and hardcore scene.
