Fridayy is the stage name of Francis Leblanc, an American singer, rapper, and producer born April 12, 2000, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Haitian parents. Raised in the city's Olney section, he grew up playing in his father's church band, learning piano, bass, and guitar by age six, and began producing his own music as a teenager.

His baritone vocal style blends R&B, gospel, hip-hop, and Afrobeats influences. He gained industry attention through production and songwriting work, including credits on Chris Brown's "Breezy" and DJ Khaled's "God Did," and a featured verse on Lil Baby's "Forever," before signing to Def Jam Recordings in 2022.

His self-titled debut album arrived in 2023 and included "When It Comes to You," his first entry as a lead artist on the Billboard Hot 100, which also reached number 29 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and was certified platinum by the RIAA. The song reflects on drawing support from a partner through a period of emotional difficulty.

His second studio album, "Some Days I'm Good, Some Days I'm Not" (2025), featured guest appearances from Meek Mill, Kehlani, and Wale and debuted at number 51 on the Billboard 200. He has also served as a support act for reggae artist Buju Banton and continues to release music blending his gospel roots with contemporary R&B and hip-hop.
