I Prevail
I Prevail is an American rock band formed in late 2013 in the Detroit suburb of Southfield, Michigan. Vocalist Eric Vanlerberghe and guitarist Steve Menoian have remained the band's only constant members since its founding, building the group around a fusion of metalcore, post-hardcore and pop punk.

About I Prevail
The band drew early attention with a metal cover of Taylor Swift's "Blank Space," later certified platinum in the United States. Its studio albums include Lifelines (2016) and Trauma (2019), both certified gold, along with True Power (2022) and Violent Nature (2025). In 2019, Trauma earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album and the song "Bow Down" was nominated for Best Metal Performance.
Signed to Fearless Records, I Prevail built its sound around Vanlerberghe's alternating clean and screamed vocals set against Menoian's melodic riffing, later folding in electronic and hip hop textures. The band's lineup has shifted around its two founders, most recently with co-vocalist Brian Burkheiser's departure in 2025, after which Vanlerberghe took over all lead vocal duties.
Violent Nature, self-produced at a Nashville studio and released in 2025, marked Vanlerberghe's debut handling every vocal part alone, with rhythm guitarist Dylan Bowman, drummer Gabe Helguera and bassist Jon Eberhard rounding out the current lineup. I Prevail remains an active act within the rock and metalcore scene.
