About Jamie Webster
Webster's career grew alongside Liverpool Football Club's supporter culture: a crowd-adapted cover of an Italo disco song became "Allez, Allez, Allez", an anthem tied to the club's run to the 2019 UEFA Champions League title, and he has performed alongside current and former Liverpool players. The Guardian has described him as the club's semi-official musician.
His music blends English folk and folk rock with lyrics that often mix football culture and social commentary, as on the song "Something's Gotta Give". His debut album We Get By (2020) reached number six on the UK Albums Chart and topped the first UK Official Folk Album Chart; the follow-up Moments (2022) reached number three.
His third album, 10 for the People (2024), reached number two on the UK Albums Chart, his highest placement to date, and the single "Weekend in Paradise" was certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry in 2023. Webster remains an active recording and touring artist signed to Modern Sky UK.
