Laura Ramoso
Laura Ramoso is a German-Italian comedian and content creator born in October 1995 in Legnago, Italy. Her mother's work with the World Health Organization took the family to Cameroon, Azerbaijan, China, and Vietnam before Ramoso settled in Canada, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of Victoria in 2016.

About Laura Ramoso
She performed live sketch and improv comedy with Toronto's Second City-affiliated Bad Dog Theatre Company before pivoting to short-form video during the pandemic. Her character-driven sketches, including impersonations of her strict German mother and Italian father, went viral in 2022, building a following of more than a million people on both TikTok and Instagram.
Ramoso's comedy blends physical performance, clowning, and satire, exaggerating everyday situations to absurd extremes. She has toured internationally with solo hours including diane (2020) and Frances (2023), which played sold-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and London's Soho Theatre, followed by her first international tour, Sit Up Straight, in 2024.
She was named a Just for Laughs New Face of Comedy in 2023, appeared in the fourth season of What We Do in the Shadows, and is set to premiere a new hour, Calm Down, in 2026.
