Rain City Drive
Rain City Drive is an American rock band from Palm Coast, Florida, formed in 2021 as a rebrand of the Sacramento post-hardcore group Slaves. The current lineup comprises lead vocalist Matt McAndrew, guitarists Weston Richmond and Felipe Sanchez, and bassist Colin Vieira.

About Rain City Drive
The band's sound moves across post-hardcore, hard rock, alternative rock, and pop rock. Its catalog includes the self-titled album Rain City Drive (2022) and Things Are Different Now (2024), along with singles such as Cutting It Close, Frozen (number 32 on the Mainstream Rock chart), and Medicate Me, a collaboration with Dayseeker that reached number 17 on the Hard Rock chart. Lead singer Matt McAndrew was previously a runner-up on the television competition The Voice.
The group performed as Slaves from its Sacramento origins until October 15, 2021, when it changed its name to Rain City Drive, a reference to Manchester, England, where several members first met, citing support for racial justice movements around the earlier name. It signed to independent label Thriller Records the following month and has continued to tour and record under the new name.
