Silkk the Shocker is the stage name of Vyshonn King Miller, an American rapper born June 18, 1975, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is the younger brother of rappers Master P and C-Murder, and rose to prominence after signing with Master P's label, No Limit Records, an imprint distributed through Priority Records.

About Silkk the Shocker
His debut album, The Shocker, was released in 1996. The follow-up, Charge It 2 da Game (1998), was certified platinum and spent an extended run on the Billboard albums chart. His third album, Made Man (1999), reached number one on the Billboard 200 and was also certified platinum, marking the commercial peak of his solo career. Later albums include My World, My Way (2001) and Based on a True Story (2004).
Silkk gained wider exposure through featured appearances, including a role on one of Master P's hit singles in 1997 and collaborations with Mystikal and Mya that received regular airplay on MTV and BET during the late 1990s. He was a core member of No Limit Records' roster during the label's commercial peak.
Beyond music, Silkk the Shocker pursued acting, appearing in the film Hot Boyz (1999) and in television roles into the 2020s.
