The Devil Wears Prada is an American metalcore band formed in Dayton, Ohio in 2005. The band took its name from the novel of the same title, initially reading it as a statement against materialism before developing their own interpretation. Vocalist Mike Hranica and guitarist Jeremy DePoyster have anchored the lineup since its founding.

About THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA

Early albums Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord (2006) and Plagues (2007) established the band within the Christian metalcore scene before it moved toward more secular themes on With Roots Above and Branches Below (2009). Dead Throne (2011) peaked at number ten on the Billboard 200, marking the band's commercial high point. The group's ninth studio album, Flowers, was released in 2025.

The Devil Wears Prada was among the first prominent metalcore bands to incorporate electronic elements into its sound during the 2000s, pairing screamed and clean vocals with keyboard textures supplied by Jonathan Gering. The current lineup also includes guitarist Kyle Sipress and drummer Giuseppe Capolupo; founding drummer Daniel Williams, who had left the band earlier, died in 2025.
