About Tom Davis

In 2015, Davis co-created and starred in "Murder in Successville," a semi-improvised BBC Three comedy in which his character, DI Sleet, enlists a celebrity guest to help solve a fictional crime; the cult hit was later adapted by Netflix as "Murderville" in 2022. His film work includes roles in "Free Fire" (2016), "Paddington 2" (2017), and "Wonka" (2023), and he was named a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit in 2016.

From 2018 to 2021, Davis co-created, wrote, and starred in the BBC sitcom "King Gary," playing the title character in a comedy centered on suburban family life. He has also built a stand-up career, with his debut show "Underdog" selling more than 70,000 tickets across the UK and being adapted into a Sky comedy special.

Davis co-hosts the podcast "Wolf and Owl" with fellow comedian Romesh Ranganathan, running well over a hundred episodes since it began in 2020, and continues to tour stand-up comedy with a new show, "Spudgun," following "Underdog."
