Chess Galea
Chess Galea is a Maltese-born singer, songwriter and vocal coach based in London, working in R&B and pop. Born Francesca Galea, she has lived in the UK for over a decade and reached number one on Malta's singles chart with her debut single, alongside a number-one placing on the iTunes singer-songwriter chart. Her music has been played on BBC London and other regional and national radio stations.

About Chess Galea
Galea provided backing vocals on Jack Savoretti's UK number-one album Europiana and wrote lyrics recorded for Nintendo's Bayonetta 3, including its theme song, as well as material for South Korean group Apink's 2023 album Self. She has performed original material at the UK House of Commons as part of a Women in Music series and tours Europe as a vocalist with the Australian Pink Floyd Show and a Lord of the Rings live orchestral production. In 2025 she founded the charity Kintsugi Way, supporting survivors of sexual assault and abuse.
